Oil Furnaces - Repair and Installation Services
An
oil fired warm air furnace uses no.2 fuel oil burned in a sealed chamber to heat
an exchanger. Then with the help of a blower or fan, forces air across the
exchanger, into ductwork to warm the structure. The basic components of an oil
furnace are: the burner, heat exchanger, fire box, blower, and cabinet,
sometimes known as the jacket.
Accessories that can be installed inside or outside of the oil furnace include:
a fan center, an air filter, electronic air cleaner, or high performance media
filter, humidifier, and air conditioning evaporator coil . With central air,
sometimes a condensate pump will be used to remove the water discharged in the
dehumidification action of the air conditioning.
At Prompt Heating and Air Conditioning, we will clean the
oil furnace, make sure it is in good working order, and will also recommend any parts that will need to be serviced or replaced in the near future. If you are looking for a new furnace or replacement we can help you with that.
While it is important to choose a brand with a history of quality, performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction - the brand itself is not as important as the installation of the equipment. If you are in love with a specific brand - we can get it.
Listed below are the brands we recommend for the excellence and durability:
